The Monkeys and the Bell! A thief who was escaping with a stolen bell was killed and eaten by a tiger. Two monkeys found the bell and began to ring it. The people in the nearby villages got scared because they thought a giant had found the bell and the giant was getting near their village! There was only one women who was not  afraid. One day she went out with a basket filled with fruit. Nearby she heard the bell and so she left the basket and hid behind a tree. After a few minutes the monkeys came down  from the tree and began stuffing themselves with the fruits because they were so hungry. The women then quickly took the bell and ran back to the village. Then everyone in the village thought she had stolen the bell from the giant and praised her for her heroic courage from then on!
