Grateful Mouse! 
One day a lion had caught a mouse and was preparing to eat it when the mouse immediately said, "Let me go, sooner or later you may need help." The king of the forest needing help and the lion laughed but, he let the mouse go anyway. A few days later the lion was trapped in a net which had been set down by hunters. Then along came the mouse and said to the lion that he will help him free. The lion found this a bit astonishing but was desperate to get out of the trap before the hunters came back and took him away. The mouse quickly chewed the net and freed the lion. "As you can see," the mouse said, that even the big and mighty sometimes need help from the small and weak." |
