There once was a fox who in order to repay a stork who had helped him once, invited the stork over for dinner. Since he anyway really didn't want to invite the stork, he decided to play a trick on the stork. He made some very good tasting soup, and knowing that if he put the soup in a bowl, the stork's long beak could not eat from it, he did it anyway. When the stork arrived, it tried and tried to eat the soup. but it's beak was too long to get the soup. The stork though, did not complain, and instead invited the fox to dinner with her. The stork also made a delicious dinner, but she put it in a long container, and the fox could not reach any of it! At the end, the fox realized that if you play mean tricks on someone else, you should expect them to play some on you too! |
