The Big Ben (as shown to the right of the parliament in the picture to the left) is a beautiful structure. The bell was built in 1858 by Sir Benjamin Hall and it was the largest bell ever built in it's time. At every hour, this grand clock plays the full chime from Handel's Messiah.
