Two donkey's were on the same path. The first, who worked for a farmer was loaded with oats. The other donkey was owned by a banker and was loaded of golden coins. Because of this the donkey walked/trotted along very proudly, and full of itself. But while the donkey's and there owner were walking some robbers heard the clinking noises of the golden coins and knew that the donkey was loaded with treasure! So, while the two owners of the donkeys went to get a drink by the river the robbers stole the donkey loaded with treasure, took all the treasure and hit the donkey real bad bad with sticks. Then they returned the donkey back to the owner before he returned! Then the other donkey which was loaded with oats explained two the other donkey that being rich has it's goods and bads. |
